Here are results for the Glen Ogle 33 Ultra which was first run in 2011. The course changed from year to year as the race grew and in 2014 we actually moved the start & finish of the race from Strathyre to Killin due to flooding. The course has remained the same from 2015 onwards.

The 2017 race, held on the 4th of November, saw 423 runners start, with 416 finishing successfully. This year we used a race riming system from SiTiming, so had runners record a split time at Strathyre.

The women’s course record for the Killin start/finish fell in amazing style with Alison Rowatt taking an incredible 16 minutes off the previous record which has stood since 2015.

The finish to the men’s race was one of the closest we’ve ever had, with only 4 seconds splitting first and second places.

This year’s Lanterne Rouge award was presented to Helen MacIver, who completed her first ever ultra marathon in 7hrs and 58 minutes.

The 2014 race saw 237 runners take part in the race. A new route starting & finishing in Killin due to flooding the week before which lead to a manic build-up to the race for the BAM team. The start route to the course was slightly different due to the lack of time to prepare and so this was another course change.
