The Glen Lyon Ultra is a 31.5 mile/48km ultra marathon which takes place in May.
The race will start at 9.30am in the morning and see runners head round the loch on the main trail before returning to the start area and heading up and over the hill in to Glen Lochay. The runners complete a loop in that valley before heading back over to finish in front of the damn.
The day after the ultra, there’s a 15.5 mile trail race around the loch, starting and finishing in front of the dam.
The first BAM race in Glen Lyon took place in 2016.
